3 days Tanzania Camping safari to Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater & Lake Manyara gives you a great chance of spotting variety of wildlife and remarkable landscapes. During this short Budget Tanzania camping safari there is a big possibility of spotting the big 5 which includes lion, leopard, buffalo, African elephant & the black rhino.

This safari starts from Arusha & end up in Arusha. We meet you a day before or in the morning at your hotel in Arusha for short safari briefing before driving to Tarangire National Park. Please let us know if you will need any assistance from us i.e hotel booking or transfers.

Our 3 Days Tanzania Camping safari can be done any time regardless of wet or dry seasons and can as well be customized to longer days with inclusion of Serengeti National park and some days in Zanzibar for beach relaxation. Please let us know you preferences.

Tour Plan

Day 1

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Distance: 139 km Non Game viewing time: 2 to 3 hrs. After breakfast, we meet you at your lodge in Arusha for short safari briefing then driving to Tarangire National Park. On the way you will pass at the middle of Arusha town for any last minute purchase before heading to the bush. This Park is known for its huge Elephant population and giant Baobab trees. Over 3000 elephant has been recorded in this park moving around Tarangire Lake Manyara ecosystem. The park drive its name from the famous River (Tarangire River) that crossing at the middle of the park and saves as a permanent source of water in the entire area. The parks has got a beautiful landscape and it is home to same rare animal species like Greater Kudu, Fringed Eared Oryx and the Ash stalling. Lion, leopard, hyena, jackal, buffalo, giraffe, wildebeest Zebra & many antelopes can be spotted in this park. Late afternoon drive to Migombani Public Campsite or similar close to Lake Manyara for sunset watch, dinner & overnight. Overnight at Migomban Public Campsite close to Lake Manyara. All meals include.

Day 2

Tarangire – Ngorongoro Crater

Distance: 87 km Non Game drive time: 2 to 3 hrs. 3 Days Camping Safari Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater & Lake Manyara continues on this day as we take you to our beautiful Ngorongoro Crater. After breakfast at your campsite depart for Ngorongoro Crater. The driving is across the Great East African Rift Valley & along the high lying farmland of Karatu, reach Ngorongoro gate for check in before driving up to Crater view point for some nice pictures of the crater floor from the rim. Then descend into the Crater floor for a wonderful game drive (picnic lunch will be served at the crater floor). Ngorongoro Crater is often defined as one of the wonders of the world, mistakenly called a Crater but it is rather the world largest unfolded volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural habitat. The crater has about 2000 ft high walls and very few animals are migrating in and out of the crater. You can expect to see lions, Hyenas, Jackals, elephants, zebras, hippos, rhinos, antelopes and many bird species including flamingos. With a bit of luck the ‘Big Five’ can be spotted in one day of game drives. End up this day by driving up & out of Ngorongoro conservation on the way during sunset you will stop at Lake Manyara view point for some nice picture of Lake Manyara & its forest from the edge of the Great East African Rift Valley then drive down to Migombani Public Campsite or similar close to Lake Manyara for dinner & overnight. Overnight at Migombani Campsite or Similar close to Lake Manyara. All meals included.

Day 3

Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha

Distance to Lake Manyara: 7 Minutes Distance back to Arusha: 120 km – 2 to 3 hrs. After breakfast at your campsite drive to Lake Manyara National park for Game drives. Lake Manyara is a beautiful & ever green park due to underground water streams that flows from the Great Rift Valley to the Lake. Park’s varied habitats with plenty of water and fodder attracts a wide variety of wildlife including herds of African elephant, buffalo, zebra, impala, hippos, giraffe and many antelopes. The famous Lake Manyara tree climbing lions and other predators can be seen in this park. Massive but shallow soda lake is home to some colorful flamingos and other aquatic birds feeding on algae and other water creatures. Late afternoon (Depending on your flight time) drive back to Arusha via Mto wa mbu town for overnight or drop off at the airport. (If you wish you can visit some Masai market on your way back to Arusha). Join us again for this short but incredible 3 days Tanzania camping safari where you visit the 3 great Northern Tanzania parks of Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater & Lake Manyara.

Die Guides Juma Kileo (Vogelexperte), Ben (Fahrer und Guide) und der Koch Victor waren sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und lustig - und unglaublich kompetent. Bei der Tourenplanung wurde unsere Tour ganz individuell auf uns zugeschnitten und alle unsere vielen, teilweise auch ungewöhnlichen Wünsche wurden berücksichtigt und umgesetzt. Auch ganz kurzfristig hat Elly, der Chef, noch einen Walk mit Ranger im Tarangire Nationalpark möglich gemacht! Das Essen war super, wir haben unfassbar viele Tiere gesehen, inklusive die Big Five. Die Guides kannten sich extrem gut aus und konnten viel zu den Tieren erzählen. Wir hatten eine Zeltsafari, ich habe es geliebt, in der Natur zu sein!   Safari an Kilimanjaro adventure We had an amazing experience with Kilimanjaro Lifetime Adventures! We did a 4-day safari, visiting Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro, followed by a 7-day Kilimanjaro climb via the Lemosho Route. The safari was incredible. Everything was very well organized, our guide was great, and we saw so many animals and beautiful places. Serengeti and Ngorongoro were definitely unforgettable. The Kilimanjaro climb was also an amazing experience. The guides and the whole team were fantastic. Everyone was super friendly, helpful and always looking after us. The guides kept us motivated, especially during the harder parts of the climb, and made sure we were doing well every day. A huge thank you to the guides, porters and cooks. They work incredibly hard and always had a smile on their faces. The food on the mountain was also much better than we expected! Reaching the summit was something we will never forget, and a big part of that is thanks to the amazing team that helped us get there.   Kilimanjaro 6 day Marangu Flawless organization – an unforgettable Kilimanjaro trek!I cannot recommend this tour operator highly enough! Everything was absolutely perfectly prepared from start to finish. Communication with the team was flawless—they responded quickly and helped clarify every single doubt we had before the trip. Even though our flight landed late at night, a driver was already waiting for us at the airport to take us to a very good, comfortable hotel. The next morning, we met our mountain crew: the knowledgeable guides, hardworking porters, an amazing cook, and Vincent, who turned out to be the best waiter ever!   Great experience with Lifetime I climbed the mountain with my two boys. Lifetime assigned us a wonderful team with experienced guides. We enjoyed hiking in different landscapes with the tour guides telling us stories along the way. Before the summit day my elder son got altitude sickness and at that moment all the staff showed great care and their professionalism. When we finally came down safe, I felt that they are not just providing service but treating us with their genuine good heart. I’m very impressed with their way of solving things and following each need we have, especially when it comes to safety.   タンザニア、サファリと街歩き 友人に誘われて少し迷いました。どこのツアーでもお断りされることもある高齢の私が行けるとも思えなかったからです。でもでも自然の中の動物達に会いたいと参加しました。想像していたより色んな種類の動物達や鳥達に会えて満足しました。自然の中での日々の営み、狩りの場面も目前で見ることができました。テレビでは無くてです。本当に感動しました。動物達は生き生きとして綺麗でした。公園の中は動物の楽園かもしれません。ホテルも最高級で申し訳ないくらいでしたし、お食事も美味しく頂きました。街歩きでの市場は興味深く見学しました。お馴染みの野菜もあればこれはどんな調理をしたら良いのかと言う珍しいお野菜や果物も豊富でした。友人にも行ける時に行った方が良いと伝えたいと思います。
