The 2 Days Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater Safari is a thrilling short safari holiday designed for travelers with limited time who still wish to explore the heart of Tanzania’s wildlife paradise. This adventure begins in either Arusha or Moshi, providing easy access to two of the most iconic national parks in northern Tanzania.

On the first day, you’ll journey to Tarangire National Park, widely known for its large elephant herds, majestic baobab trees, and seasonal swamps that attract diverse wildlife such as lions, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests. The Tarangire River, the park’s lifeline, becomes a hotspot for animal sightings, especially during the dry season when wildlife gathers along the banks to drink.

After a day of exploring Tarangire, you’ll head to a campsite or lodge near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for an overnight stay. Here, you’ll enjoy a peaceful night in the African wilderness, resting under the stars.

The second day takes you deep into the stunning Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” The crater floor is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including the elusive black rhino, prides of lions, large herds of buffalo, hippos, hyenas, and colorful flamingos lining the soda lake.

Throughout the safari, you’ll be accompanied by a professional, English-speaking local guide who will enrich your experience with deep insights into the region’s wildlife, culture, and landscapes. Day 0: Arrival In Tanzania

Day 1: Moshi/Arusha to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast from your hotel you will be picked up from your hotel in Moshi/Arusha by our safari drive. From there you will be driven 3-4 hours to the magnificent Ngorongoro Conservation area. Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a UNESCO World Heritage site located in northern Tanzania. It is renowned for its breath-taking landscapes, diverse wildlife, and rich cultural heritage. The area's centerpiece is the Ngorongoro Crater, a volcanic caldera that harbors a vast array of wildlife, including the "Big Five" (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhino) and numerous other species. Visitors to Ngorongoro can enjoy game drives within the crater, offering unparalleled opportunities to observe wildlife in their natural habitat. Additionally, the conservation area is home to the Maasai people, known for their distinctive culture and traditional way of life. Cultural interactions such as visiting Maasai villages and experiencing their customs and traditions are also highlights of a visit to Ngorongoro. Day 2: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast from the hotel you will meet your safari driver waiting for you to drive to Tarangire national Park. When entering the park there is a wide panorama of acacia woodland and grass savanna, where huge herds of elephants and other unique residents such as zebra, giraffe, and impalas proceed their daily life in the bush. In the afternoon we will take lunch in the park and drive back to drop to the airport to catch your flight back home. Depending on the season the best safari experience is Tarangire during July/October and Lake Manyara during November/June.
