Tour Plan

Day 1

Arrival in Arusha

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a representative from Kilimanjaro Lifetime Adventures will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. You’ll check in at Park View Hotel or a similar property where you can rest and refresh after your journey. Later in the evening, you’ll meet your guide for a detailed briefing and preparation for the safari ahead.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your journey begins with a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, a haven known for its massive elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. The park’s dry-season concentration of wildlife around the Tarangire River offers excellent photographic opportunities. As the sun begins to set, you’ll head to the Silale Swamp or along the river for a golden-hour shoot before retiring to Tarangire Osupuko Lodge for the night.

Day 3

Tarangire to Lake Manyara

Your morning starts with another game drive in Tarangire, capturing early light and active wildlife. Afterward, you'll head to Lake Manyara National Park, famed for its tree-climbing lions, large hippo pools, and abundant birdlife. As the day winds down, you’ll enjoy a sunset shoot with views over the shimmering lake. Tonight, you’ll stay at Marera Valley Lodge, tucked away in the lush highlands near Karatu.

Day 4

Lake Manyara to Lake Natron

Today’s route takes you off the beaten path to the otherworldly landscape of Lake Natron. The journey offers dramatic scenery ideal for landscape photography, including volcanic plains and sweeping views. Upon arrival, you'll encounter flocks of flamingos along the lake’s edge and engage in a cultural visit with the local Maasai community. As evening approaches, you'll capture the glowing light over the lake before spending the night at Maasai Giraffe Eco Lodge.

Day 5

Lake Natron to Central Serengeti

You’ll depart early and travel across remote wilderness toward the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. Along the way, there will be stops to photograph wildlife and the rugged beauty of the terrain. By afternoon, you’ll arrive in the heart of the Serengeti for a game drive across its central plains. This region is rich in wildlife activity year-round. Tonight, you’ll settle in at Kati Kati Tented Camp or a similar accommodation in the bush.

Day 6

Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Today is dedicated to a full-day photographic safari in the Serengeti. Depending on the season, you may follow the Great Migration or focus on resident predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Early morning and late afternoon hours are reserved for golden light photography, ensuring you get the most striking shots of animals in action or at rest. You’ll return to your camp for dinner and a peaceful night under the stars.

Day 7

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

An early sunrise game drive in the Serengeti gives you one last chance to capture iconic wildlife scenes in magical morning light. After breakfast, you’ll begin your drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. In the afternoon, you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day safari in this natural amphitheater, home to an incredibly dense concentration of wildlife including rhinos, lions, and large herds of grazing animals. You’ll spend the night at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge or a similar property perched on the crater rim.

Day 8

Return to Arusha

After breakfast, you’ll make your way back to Arusha, with optional photo stops along the way to capture the changing landscapes and rural life. Once in town, there will be time for souvenir shopping or a relaxed lunch while reviewing the highlights of your photographic journey. Depending on your travel plans, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight home or spend one more night in Arusha.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne 9-tägige Safari mit Kilimanjaro Lifetime Adventures! Die Guides Juma Kileo (Vogelexperte), Ben (Fahrer und Guide) und der Koch Victor waren sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und lustig - und unglaublich kompetent. Bei der Tourenplanung wurde unsere Tour ganz individuell auf uns zugeschnitten und alle unsere vielen, teilweise auch ungewöhnlichen Wünsche wurden berücksichtigt und umgesetzt. Auch ganz kurzfristig hat Elly, der Chef, noch einen Walk mit Ranger im Tarangire Nationalpark möglich gemacht! Das Essen war super, wir haben unfassbar viele Tiere gesehen, inklusive die Big Five. Die Guides kannten sich extrem gut aus und konnten viel zu den Tieren erzählen. Wir hatten eine Zeltsafari, ich habe es geliebt, in der Natur zu sein! Wer ein kleines Unternehmen von einem lokalen Tansanier und Vater von vier Kindern unterstützen möchte, ist hier an der richtigen Adresse. Elly ist unglaublich freundlich und offen.   Safari an Kilimanjaro adventure
We had an amazing experience with Kilimanjaro Lifetime Adventures! We did a 4-day safari, visiting Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro, followed by a 7-day Kilimanjaro climb via the Lemosho Route. The safari was incredible. Everything was very well organized, our guide was great, and we saw so many animals and beautiful places. Serengeti and Ngorongoro were definitely unforgettable. The Kilimanjaro climb was also an amazing experience. The guides and the whole team were fantastic. Everyone was super friendly, helpful and always looking after us. The guides kept us motivated, especially during the harder parts of the climb, and made sure we were doing well every day. A huge thank you to the guides, porters and cooks. They work incredibly hard and always had a smile on their faces. The food on the mountain was also much better than we expected! Reaching the summit was something we will never forget, and a big part of that is thanks to the amazing team that helped us get there. We would 100% recommend Kilimanjaro Lifetime Adventures for both safari and Kilimanjaro. Great organization, great people and an unforgettable experience. Flawless organization – an unforgettable Kilimanjaro trek!I cannot recommend this tour operator highly enough! Everything was absolutely perfectly prepared from start to finish. Communication with the team was flawless—they responded quickly and helped clarify every single doubt we had before the trip. Even though our flight landed late at night, a driver was already waiting for us at the airport to take us to a very good, comfortable hotel. The next morning, we met our mountain crew: the knowledgeable guides, hardworking porters, an amazing cook, and Vincent, who turned out to be the best waiter ever! Once on the mountain, everything was perfectly planned and organized from A to Z. Absolutely everything went strictly according to plan, and the food they served was simply delicious!   Great experience with Lifetime
I climbed the mountain with my two boys. Lifetime assigned us a wonderful team with experienced guides. We enjoyed hiking in different landscapes with the tour guides telling us stories along the way. Before the summit day my elder son got altitude sickness and at that moment all the staff showed great care and their professionalism. When we finally came down safe, I felt that they are not just providing service but treating us with their genuine good heart. I’m very impressed with their way of solving things and following each need we have, especially when it comes to safety. 友人に誘われて少し迷いました。どこのツアーでもお断りされることもある高齢の私が行けるとも思えなかったからです。でもでも自然の中の動物達に会いたいと参加しました。想像していたより色んな種類の動物達や鳥達に会えて満足しました。自然の中での日々の営み、狩りの場面も目前で見ることができました。テレビでは無くてです。本当に感動しました。動物達は生き生きとして綺麗でした。公園の中は動物の楽園かもしれません。ホテルも最高級で申し訳ないくらいでしたし、お食事も美味しく頂きました。街歩きでの市場は興味深く見学しました。お馴染みの野菜もあればこれはどんな調理をしたら良いのかと言う珍しいお野菜や果物も豊富でした。友人にも行ける時に行った方が良いと伝えたいと思います。

Als Reiseleitung konnte ich mich voll entspannen - alles andere war top organisiert!! Da ich oft anderweitig in Afrika unterwegs bin, weiß ich natürlich auch um diverse Sicherheitsrisiken, vor denen oft und zu Recht gewarnt wird. Deshalb kann ich allen Interessierten nur dringend raten, sich einem erfahrenen und kompetenten örtlichen Reiseleiter wie Elly anzuvertrauen. Er kennt Land und Leute, geht gerne auch auf Sonderwünsche ein und regelt Manches ohne viel Aufhebens im Hintergrund!
