Nyumba ya Mungu is a man-made lake in the Kilimanjaro region located at Mwanga district it was constructed for the purpose of irrigation, hydro-electric power and to start a local fishing industry Nyumba ya Mungu Day tour is one the most amazing trip in the country the word Nyumba ya Mungu is a Swahili words which means House of God in English. The crystal clear water runs down the slopes of Kilimanjaro in the deep valleys as sparkling streams. These streams pour their water in the legendry reservoir called Nyumba ya Mungu.
