Day 1: Mwanza to Serengeti National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel and depart Mwanza at around 9:00 a.m., beginning a scenic 2.5-hour drive to the legendary Serengeti National Park, with packed lunch boxes for the day. Renowned as one of the largest and most celebrated wildlife reserves on the planet, the Serengeti is known for its sweeping grasslands and iconic kopjes—rocky outcrops that rise like islands from the sea of grass. The park’s name comes from the Maasai word Siringet, meaning “endless plains,” a fitting description of its vast, open landscapes. This is the stage for the world-famous Great Migration and home to powerful Nile crocodiles, the largest of their kind, which lie in wait along the park's rivers.

Day 2: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, set out for a full day of exciting game drives across the central Serengeti. Your exploration focuses on the Sogore River Circuit, a scenic route that winds through the open plains south of the Seronera River an area known for its rich concentration of wildlife. Here, you'll have excellent chances of spotting predators like lions and cheetahs, along with a variety of grazers such as Thomson’s gazelles, topis, and ostriches. Following your morning game drive, you'll visit the Serengeti Visitor Center, located near Seronera Lodge and the public campsites. This well-maintained center offers engaging exhibits about the park’s ecosystem and wildlife, a gift shop with maps and informative brochures, and a small store selling refreshments and snacks. You can relax and enjoy your picnic lunch in the shaded picnic area under large acacia trees, or take a short walk along the educational trail around a nearby kopje (rocky outcrop). After lunch, continue with a relaxed afternoon drive before returning to your lodge or tented camp in the Seronera area for dinner and an overnight stay, based on your selected accommodation

Day 3: Serengeti National Park – Return to Mwanza

Start the day with an optional early morning game drive to catch the sunrise and observe wildlife during their most active hours, or enjoy a relaxed breakfast first whichever suits your preference. Our schedule is flexible to ensure you get the most out of your safari experience. After a morning of exploration, you’ll have lunch before beginning the drive back to Mwanza. Enjoy more wildlife sightings along the way as you exit the park. Upon arrival in Mwanza later in the day, you will be dropped off at your designated location
